Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Identify common oral and dental lesions encountered in clinical practice, including benign and malignant conditions.

Differentiate normal oral anatomy from pathologic findings during routine oral examinations.

Apply a systematic approach to lesion evaluation, including recognition, documentation, and clinical assessment.

Develop an appropriate differential diagnosis based on clinical appearance, patient history, and risk factors.

Recognize warning signs and red flags associated with potentially malignant and malignant oral lesions.

Discuss treatment and management options for common oral pathologies, including observation, intervention, and referral.

Determine when referral to a specialist is necessary to ensure timely diagnosis and appropriate patient care.
