PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
- History, safety, mechanism of action, and preparation of Dermal Fillers and Neurotoxins.
- Pharmacological effects and contraindications, including potential drug interactions.
- Management of complications.
- Training in facial anatomy and physiology as it applies to facial aesthetics including:
- Anatomy of head and neck
- Neurophysiology, including facial tissue, parasympathetic, sympathetic and peripheral nervous systems relative to peri-oral tissue and facial architecture
- Accurate documentation including drug, dosage and sites of injections
- Patient Selection including:
- Indications and contraindications
- Medical history including medications, allergies and relevant problems

**IMPORTANT: Per the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry, please be advised that courses taken prior to September 2011 are not considered certification courses and you are NOT permitted to perform injectables pharmacologics in the State of New Jersey. You must have attended a course after September 2011 to be considered certified by the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry.The A.A.F.C is very excited to announce that their facial injectable course is one of the first courses in the state of New Jersey to be given accreditation by the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry. The Doctors will provide you with guidelines for patient selection and will review patient expectations and realistic versus non-realistic results. Since they maintain private practices they are always available to give support to their trainees, as needed, when they perform these services for their patients. They also provide aid in integrating these procedures into your practice.
Unlike other training courses, our seminars are kept small in order to provide a more personalized and beneficial educational and training experience. As opposed to other programs we provide live models during the demonstration portion of the program and our fee is all-inclusive,
