This course will cover the various diagnostic and treatment aspects of care for the pediatric patient from birth to age 12.   Topics will include but not be limited to:

  • Difference between pediatric and adult patients
  • Milestones of pediatric development – both emotional and physical
  • Significance of pediatric nutrition and the gut microbiome
  • Apgar rating and significance for infants
  • Spinal development
  • Scoliosis identification and treatment
  • Cranial faults
  • Techniques for improved proprioceptive response
  • Various learning disabilities
  • The roles of the parent and of epigenetics
