ONLINE – Renewal Program for NJ Dental Hygienist Anesthesia Certification

Course Description & Objectives:

This course will satisfy NJ renewal requirements for Anesthesia administration. Discussion of pre-anesthesic risk assessments, patient selection and anesthetic choice, demonstration of the proper administration of local anesthesia, recognition and management of adverse reactions or medical emergencies, and appropriate documentation.

Once you have registered you will receive directions on how to view and complete this program.
This class will satisfy the renewal requirement of 4 CEUs every other license renewal period in dental anesthesia to renew your anesthesia credential. Completion of this renewal class is in addition to the CE requirements needed. Once you complete the program and send us your documents you will  receive your attendance verification, you need to mail that verification to the NJ Board of Dentistry.

Prerequisite: Current NJ RDH license, Current NJ Hygienist Anesthesia Certification, Current AHA BLS CPR Certification

*If you are an out of state student please be sure this class is acceptable for your state. We are a NJ Board approved program.

Once you register you will receive directions on how to view the video presentation, a  pre and post test, and course evaluation. Once you have completed the program, you will need to send us the pre -test, post-test, and course evaluation. You will then receive your certificate of completion in the mail.  After purchasing , this program must be completed within 6 months of purchase date. After 6 months it will not be valid and you will lose your tuition paid as well as not receive CE credits. 

4 CEUs  – These credits may NOT be used toward your hygiene license renewal CE requirement.
