This 2 part program will present the participant with valuable information on the use of Lasers in today’s workplace and how to successfully incorporate them to be an effective clinical tool as well as promote office efficiency and reduced cost related treatment.

Lasers: The basics every office should know
This program will review the basics of lasers in periodontics..  The concept of LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure) and LAPIP (Laser Assisted Periimplantitis Procedure) which is the brand name given by Millennium Dental Technologies will be reviewed..  However there are other companies out there that promote the same procedure.  The initial results are gratifying for both natural teeth and “ailing” implants.
You don’t have to spend $10,000 dollars but could benefit from a $3000 diode laser.  The program will discuss getting a high return on your investment.  There is very little training needed.
Even if you personally don’t do this procedure, legally (I have had to defend some dentists), you have to be aware that this could be an alternative to periodontal surgery.  Associating with a periodontal office who does offer this procedure may avoid future legal problems.
PERIO CONCEPTS FOR THE MODERN DENTAL PRACTICE-DIAGNOSIS TO LONG TERM MAINTENANCE
Many articles in Dental Economics discuss “The Hygiene Department” but what are you doing in your office?  This program will be an INTERACTIVE DISCUSSION.  IN PERSON at the Dental Studies Institute is advised to get the most out of the program, however, we will be Zooming as well.  Be prepared with your questions and comments on what your office is doing to promote your hygiene/periodontics program.
The program will discuss getting the maximum production from your hygienist as utilizing the front desk to “fill that hygiene schedule”.  Practice management tips to increase case acceptance and not lose patients to other offices.  Working with insurance to maximize benefits and getting periodontics treatment approved.
