This seminar and hands-on program is designed to provide participants with a review of critical concepts from pre-treatment evaluation to postoperative complications and their management.
**Hands-On skill sessions** focus on surgical techniques that are adaptable to a wide variety of clinical scenarios.
Topics include
· Medical, surgical and psychological risk assessment
· Flap design and soft tissue management
· Difficult extractions, adjunctive procedures and the role of antibiotics
· Principles of biopsy
· Complications and their management
Hands-on sessions will focus on
§ Flap development
§ Soft tissue surgical techniques and suturing methods
§ Incisional and excisional biopsy
