Course Outline: Teaching method will be lecture format and question/discussion period.
Week 1. Introduction to Receptionist and Scheduling Productively, Communication with the Patients Digital and In Person/ Reduce NO Shows, Communication with the Team We are the Hub of All Information
Week 2. Treatment Coordination, Collection and Insurance Fundamentals, Handling Changes and Marketing
Each class is 3 CEUs.
Instructor: Tara Larkin DISIPC, CDA, RDA , DSI Faculty, has worked extensively with dental software for over 15 years. Her expertise includes both clinical and administrative aspects of the business, guiding offices from traditional into digital workflows. Tara thrives on bringing together the expansion of AI into everyday tasks creating a greater experience for both patients and offices. Her dedication to all aspects of the dental industry is shown in her constant involvement in new software, insurance trends, and most recently, by becoming an inaugural member of the OSAP Dental Industry Specialist in Infection Prevention and Control Certification.
