Live Webinar or Attend in Person at our School ( limited seats available for in person )

This class is either offered as a Live Webinar from your location ( you must have a laptop/desktop/or Ipad with a microphone and camera) Your Microphone and Camera must be on while taking any online exams.


Attend in person at our school ( Limited seating is available at our school due to Social Distancing and CDC/STATE and FEDERAL Guidelines)

Class Times:  Wednesday and Friday Day classes : Hours are 9am to 1pm except for some classes which are 9am to 3pm

Monday, Tuesday,  and Wednesday Evening Classes: Hours are 6pm to 10pm

Sunday Classes: Hours are 9am to 1pm

**All Students even those Choosing the Live Webinar Option will have to come to school to do Labs, Quizzes, and Tests : you must have access to a a laptop/desktop/or ipad to participate:  We will be using Canvas as a platform and Zoom for the live interactive webinars.

**All students must be ready to switch to Live Webinar’s if NJ changes the indoor attendance requirements, which can happen with very short notice:

Class Description & Objectives:

This course will provide the Dental Auxiliary with the information and training to produce quality dental radio graphs. This course includes 45 hours of instruction in classroom and laboratory and clinical experience in the dental office. Successful completion of this program will fulfill the state requirements for the State of New Jersey Dental Radiology Licensure Exam.

Students must attend all classes.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age -Have a high school diploma or GED (NJ does not accept online diploma’s or GED certificates) or A degree from an accredited college in the US

Foreign diplomas MUST be evaluated for US equivalency PRIOR to the start of the program; which can be done by our school for an additional charge .

Diplomas from Continental Academy and St. Joseph’s on line diplomas are not acceptable.

Must have a min. of 3 months of full time dental experience and be familiar with dental terminology, landmarks of the mouth, tooth numbering systems, surfaces of the teeth at a minimum

Must be of good moral character

Must have lab jacket and safety glasses, which can be purchased from our school.

This program is accredited by the New Jersey Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners.

Tuition includes Books, lab fee , dosimeter fee and registration fee. Tuition does not include Exam Fee, License Fee or fees for lab jacket and safety glasses.
During the clinical portion of the program you must be able to take a min. of 3 FMS using paralleling technique (54 films) and a min. of 16 exposures using bisecting angle technique.  Students must provide their own clinical site and may use more than one site to complete their requirements. You must be able to attend all classes.

(There is no public transportation in the evenings or weekends to the Fairfield location)
