Course Description & Learning Objectives:
This course provides both didactic and clinical instruction of dental assisting in the Oral Surgery dental office. Designed for the individual who have very little or no dental experience. Participants will learn dental terminology, dental instruments, dental materials, chair side dental assisting, four handed dentistry, medical history taking, blood pressure, proper office protocols, IV sedation, post operative care and home instructions and much more.
Students will learn all aspects of the Oral Surgery dental office.
Students will need a lab jacket and safety glasses for clinic learning. Both items can be purchased at the school.
This class can be attended either Live in person at our school or as a Live interactive webinar. The last date of class will be a hands on portion and all students will be live at our school.
